The Social Justice Committee is starting a new mission project: we are partnering with North Hill Elementary School in a mentoring program. To participate in the project all you need is an hour a week to listen, read, play, or just be a presence to a young person. If you have an interest in getting involved or in hearing more about it, give the church office a call at 752-2305. We will have an organizational meeting in a few weeks. This outreach to Zion’s neighborhood school is a wonderful opportunity to bring the church’s presence into the community.

Maundy Thursday at 7:30 PM is our chance to remember the Last Supper. You can’t really grasp the power of the Resurrection without first walking the journey of Maundy Thursday.

Good Friday at noon will be an ecumenical service at Zion. The service with be a celebration of music and Word and will be done by the women clergy and musicians of Burlington.

Saturday 10 AM to 2 PM the church sanctuary will be open for prayer, meditation and reflection.

Easter Sunday we will greet the rising sun at the tomb as the women did in the Gospel story! Join the youth for an early service at Aspen Grove Cemetery. Meet us at the amphitheater at 6:30 AM or at the church at 6:15AM and we will go out together. A breakfast at the church will follow the sunrise service.

Then at 10:00 be present at worship for a victorious celebration of Christ’s resurrection!! It will be a worship of joy and excitement that you don’t want to miss.
