Run for the Homeless results

Here are the results from last Sunday’s 5K Run for the Homeless, sponsored Aug. 25 by Zion United Church of Christ to raise money for the Burlington Area Homeless Shelter. More than 70 people of all ages participated and more than $2,000 was raised in the inaugural event.

Adult Sunday School in September: Genesis

The Rev. Jerry Rigdon will bring a new perspective on a very old book—Genesis. This interesting class begins at 9 a.m., Sept. 15, in the church library. There will be a short list of optional reading to complete prior to the class. Don’t miss this wonderful start to the church school year!!
